Privacy Policy

• Account information, your name, email address, and a hashed password; or your basic profile (name, email) if you sign in with Google.
• Preview-request information, your name, email, applicant type, optional organization, professional title, licensing jurisdiction, license number, interest note, declaration acceptance, and request-review and invitation status. We collect these details only to review, secure, administer, and communicate about invite-only preview access. A license number or affiliation you provide is treated as applicant-supplied and is not represented as verified unless Homestead separately performs and records that verification.
• Preferences you set, budget, cities, home criteria, priorities, and financing assumptions from onboarding and settings.
• Activity in the app, homes you save, searches you run, pages you visit, and interaction trends, used to operate, secure, analyze, and improve the product and its automated models.
• Billing status, your subscription tier and payment status. Card numbers are handled by Stripe and never touch our servers.

We do not buy data about you, and we do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing.

To provide the service (curated feeds, cost estimates, saved homes), to personalize what you see, to process payments, to send account and product emails, and to keep the service secure (for example rate-limiting abusive traffic). For preview applicants, we use the submitted information to assess access requests, prevent abuse, send transactional receipts and invitations, and maintain an access-review record. We also analyze aggregated or de-identified usage and interaction trends to evaluate system performance, improve algorithmic accuracy, and refine the product experience. We do not use this data to provide licensed or personalized financial, investment, real-estate, tax, or legal advice.

Homestead is currently a demo site. Information, listings, and other content may be test data or examples and should not be relied on for real-world decisions. Please do not submit sensitive personal information.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

We keep your data while your account is active. Preview-request and review records are retained while needed to administer the preview, document access decisions and consent, prevent repeated abuse, and meet legal or security obligations. You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by emailing admin@homesteadfound.com from your account email; we will delete it within 30 days except where the law requires us to keep records (for example, billing records).

Depending on where you live (including California under the CCPA and the EU/UK under the GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to exercise any of these — we honor these requests for all users regardless of location. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of selling.

Passwords are stored hashed, connections are encrypted in transit, and access to production data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you as required by law.

The service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
