Privacy Policy

• Account information, your name, email address, and a hashed password; or your basic profile (name, email) if you sign in with Google.
• Preferences you set, budget, cities, home criteria, priorities, and financing assumptions from onboarding and settings.
• Activity in the app, homes you save, searches you run, and pages you visit, used to operate and improve the product.
• Billing status, your subscription tier and payment status. Card numbers are handled by Stripe and never touch our servers.

We do not buy data about you, and we do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing.

To provide the service (curated feeds, cost estimates, saved homes), to personalize what you see, to process payments, to send account and product emails, and to keep the service secure (for example rate-limiting abusive traffic).

We use a small set of service providers under contract:

• Stripe, payment processing
• Resend, transactional email
• Google, optional sign-in (OAuth)
• Neon, database
• Vercel, application hosting and content delivery

Listing and neighborhood data come from third-party data sources; your personal information is not shared with them.

Where your data is processed. Our infrastructure and providers are located in the United States. If you use Homestead from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be processed in the U.S., which may have different data-protection rules than your country.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by emailing admin@homesteadfound.com from your account email; we will delete it within 30 days except where the law requires us to keep records (for example, billing records).

Depending on where you live (including California under the CCPA and the EU/UK under the GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to exercise any of these — we honor these requests for all users regardless of location. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of selling.

Passwords are stored hashed, connections are encrypted in transit, and access to production data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you as required by law.

The service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
